The travels of Dr Jane

28 February 2018

We want to congratulate Dr Jane on two big moments this past month. She was a grateful recipient of the Cinema for Peace Honorary Award for her 60-year dedication to scientific endeavour and conservation. Dr Jane is very proud of her role in spreading peace in the world and harmony with nature, as exemplified in her role as a UN Ambassador for Peace and though our JGI Peace Day celebrations in September each year with R&S groups in Australia and around the world.

Dr Jane was also honoured to be at the 71st British Academy Film & Theatre Awards (BAFTA) at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Feb. 18. The new documentary JANE was nominated for a BAFTA, as well as shortlisted for an Oscar, so if you haven’t already seen it, keep your eyes on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages for the latest updates and watch out for its TV premiere on National Geographic Australia from March 11.
