JANE Documentary Australian Premiere

01 October 2017

In case you haven’t heard, there is a brand new documentary showing Jane Goodall like you’ve never seen her before. A project years in the making, the new National Geographic, in collaboration with JGI, documentary ‘JANE’ takes us on a journey through her discoveries and personal life with more than 100 hours of never before seen footage of the experiences that started it all and changed the world!

After a hugely successful world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on September 10th, we are thrilled to be welcoming the film to Australia at the Adelaide Film Festival on October 5th and 15th.  When Jane saw the documentary, her reaction was very personal: “When I saw it, it was a very extraordinary feeling which I find hard to put into words because it took me right back again,” Jane said. “I was that young woman who was out there with the chimpanzees living her dream.” Watch the trailer here and the interview with Jane and the Director hereThe film will be rolling out in select cities across Australia in early 2018. Tickets are now available for the showing at the Adelaide Film Festival, so don’t miss out on this amazing experience to see the inner workings of Jane’s early days at Gombe.
