December Newsletter 2014

01 December 2014

Merry Christmas!

We hope you had a happy, productive and peaceful  2014.  The JGI Australia team wishes to thank each and every one of you for supporting us through the year. We are grateful to our JGIA members, our hard-working Roots & Shoots members, our Chimp Guardians, our volunteers, our corporate supporters and every one else who enables us to work towards our mission to connect Animals, People and the Environment.

2014 has been a great year for JGI. Some of our highlights include:

  • Jane Goodall’s Australian tour which enabled Jane to reach millions of Australians with her urgent messages to help our planet
  • Hundreds of new Roots & Shoots members
  • Expanded Roots & Shoots into the Northern Territory
  • Recycled approximately 2350 mobile phones
  • Raised funds to support our colleagues in JGI Nepal and JGI South Africa for urgent causes
  • Collaborated with other organisations to support Australian issues such as dingo protection, duck protection, shark protection in Western Australia and the Great Forest National Park.
  • Connected with businesses such as White King to make compassionate decisions.

This would not have been possible without your support.  Best wishes for the new year.
