It’s getting hard to keep up with the amazing work of our R&S National Youth Leadership Council these days – and that’s a great thing! It started with their Annual NYLC Workshop on 7-9 July where they set goals for the year and worked on their exciting R&S campaign for Term 4. Then they were featured in an article by Student Edge “Roots & Shoots: How Young Australians Are Stealing Back Nature’s Future One Shoot at a Time”. There have also been a couple of our R&S and NYLC leaders interviewed on conservation and the power of young people for Switch On Radio. And finally, one of our NYLC, Asha, is off to St George’s House in Windsor, UK to meet Dr Jane and represent JGIA at the Jane Goodall Institute’s Annual Youth Summit. Phew! Congratulations to all of our amazing youth leaders and if you want to try to keep up with them yourself, please follow our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages.
