3. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Networks

JGI is excited to announce that Roots & Shoots members can now connect nationally AND globally!

Australian Roots & Shoots members, who we call solutionaries, have an exclusive Facebook group where ideas, issues, problems and achievements are shared. This is a great way to get in touch with like-minded Australians. If you are a registered solutionary, you are welcome to join our group. Please click here to register a group, or here to register as an individual solutionary.

Roots & Shoots members around the world also have a way of connecting by sharing projects through the global website.  Share your projects or view other groups’ projects here.

4. Solutionary Spotlight

Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots program is making a difference in more than 135 countries around the world, including Tanzania. This month, our spotlight is on a group from the Sokoine Primary School who are trying to preserve their local forest and knowledge of traditional medicines through the ‘Jane Goodall Herbal Medicine Project”.  The project needs urgent financial support. Please view their crowd funding campaign here.
